Congratulations, you are now the owner of your new home! To finalise this process, all documentation must now be correctly registered in the land registry to avoid any problems should you come to sell later on. Garu´s legal team or your appointed legal representative can deal with this for you or you can appoint a Gestor (accountant). This process can take up to two months, but you are free to use and enjoy your property at any time. Our post-sales department charges a small amount to fulfill this function as well as change the responsibility of ownership for the water, electricity, property tax, etc to your name.
You can therefore forget about all the paperwork involved and dedicate yourself to thinking about furniture, decoration and enjoying your new home, etc. We also can assist you on these matters, as we have excellent contacts with professionals in these fields.
